Where are you located?

Our address is 950 Turquoise Street, San Diego, CA 92109. We are located on Turquoise Street between Cass and Bayard in north Pacific Beach – next to to the French Gourmet restaurant. Click here for a map to our animal hospital.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes – we operate primarily by appointment. Walk-in appointments will be seen on an as-available basis in between appointments, so walk-ins may face a wait. For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available at an additional charge.

What are your hours?

We are open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and major holidays.

Do you have parking?

Yes, we have a private parking lot behind our building for your convenience.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept CareCredit and cash. Unfortunately, we cannot accept checks.

Do you have any payment plans?

We do not have any form of payment plan, and payment is due at time of service. We do, however, accept CareCredit financing.

What should I do if I have an emergency and you are closed?

In the event of an after-hours emergency, please call the 24-hour Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Sorrento Valley at 858-488-0658.

I’m new to the area – can I tour your hospital?

We would love to show you around! Please call us at 858-488-0658 and we will schedule a time for a staff member to show you our facilities.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

If possible, please bring any pertinent medical or vaccine records with you to your first appointment. If you do not have a copy of your pet’s medical records, please let us know when you schedule your appointment, and we will call your previous veterinarian to have records faxed to us.

Do you provide boarding?

YES! We can board all types of pets – dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and others, including pets who take medication. Please call us at 858-488-0658 for more information and pricing.

Do you have a groomer on-site?

While we do not have a professional groomer on-site, we do provide bathing, nail trimming, and brushing services by appointment.

I just got a new puppy/kitten. What do I do next?

Establishing a relationship with a veterinarian right off the bat is very important with a new puppy or kitten! Please call us to schedule an exam for your new addition right away. If you got your new pet from a shelter or rescue group, chances are he’s probably had his first shots, but will need boosters, deworming, and an intestinal parasite exam. We can also give you information on spaying and neutering your new puppy or kitten.
